Mobile Terms of Service

On the Spot Utility Resources may request to communicate important information with you via SMS messaging. Once we are in contact with you, either by you calling us, or by us calling you in regards to an 811 ticket request that you have submitted in your State, one of our Agents may wish to communicate additional information to you via SMS messaging and will request your consent in the following way…

Company : “If you like, I can provide additional information through a text message to the number we are speaking on.”

Customer : “That will be fine”

Company : “You will receive a message shortly, once you reply, I will be able to send you updates about your requests.”

The SMS message you receive will be as follows..

Company: “As part of our service we can send you text messages with updates. We will only send messages as needed per your request. Message and data rates may apply. At any time you can get more help by replying HELP to these texts, or you can opt out completely by replying STOP. Mobile Terms of Service can be found HERE and our Privacy Statement can be found HERE. Please reply with ‘yes’ or ‘no’ to indicate if you would like this service”.

Customer: “Yes”

Company: “Great! We will send you a text message to confirm your enrollment here shortly.”

1. You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text “STOP” to the phone number which you received the SMS messages from. After you send the SMS message “STOP” to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.
2. If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program you can reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or you can get help directly at info@otsutilities.com
   Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages
3. As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. You will receive messages only as often as needed to assist you in specific 811 requests that you have submitted to your State. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.
